About
The salon is named Always Pretty. The standard behind it is Carol.
A full-service salon and spa grew here one trusted service at a time — because clients kept asking the person they trusted to do one more thing.
ICarol's story
One chair became a whole house of care
Carol Cheshire owns and runs Always Pretty, and the breadth of the place is really a record of what her clients have asked of her over the years. She started in hair. Clients wanted skincare, so she added it. They wanted bodywork, and she trained in it — including WATSU, the warm-water therapy almost no one else nearby offers.
Then she trained in permanent cosmetics, and the salon quietly became something more: a place people trust with their brows, their lash line, and the delicate, restorative work that comes after a mastectomy. That trust is the thread through all of it. Carol doesn't sell services so much as look after people, for years at a stretch.
IIRecognition
“The work has to earn the name on the door, every single appointment.” The standard at Always Pretty
Always Pretty was named a Happening List honoree three years running, from 2014 through 2016 — local recognition voted by the community it serves. We're proud of it, and prouder still of the regulars who keep coming back long after the votes are counted.
Recognition is nice. The real measure is the client who booked her daughter's first haircut here and now books her own wedding party.
IIIThe team
Who you'll meet
-
Carol Cheshire
Owner, lead stylist, and permanent-cosmetics practitioner. Carol oversees the salon and personally handles permanent makeup and the restorative work it makes possible.
-
Jenna
A familiar face on the team and part of what keeps appointments here feeling personal rather than rushed. We'll round out her full introduction as the new site goes live.
IVThe setting
A Victorian on South Main, not a strip-mall suite
Always Pretty lives in a Main Street Victorian in the heart of Coopersburg — wood floors, warm light, and rooms that were built to feel like a home rather than a clinic. It's part of why an appointment here tends to slow your shoulders down before anyone has touched them.
You'll find us a short walk from the shops downtown, with the kind of front porch that makes leaving feel optional.
Come see for yourself
The easiest way to understand the place is to book a visit.
Tell us what you're coming in for and we'll pair you with the right person on the team and find a time that suits you.
